Our group decided to do the paper instead of doing the documentary option. The main reason that we decided to do the paper is because we felt as if the people we are interviewing would feel more comfortable just sitting and talking to us rather than being videotaped. Some of the people are students that actually attend Rowan as students and the other person works in the food department at Rowan so we were worried that if we went into the interview and tried to video tape them, they might feel uncomfortable and deny the interview. It’s not that we personally feel uncomfortable with the technology; we just want the people that were interviewing to feel as comfortable as possible. If we HAD to do the documentary option we would have had to have found people that are 100% willing to be videotaped.

We haven't quite completed our interviews but we do have a date lined up for one and the other two are going to be done over an e mail. We have all of the questions written out and we know what we want to talk to the people that we are interviewing about. After we do our interviews, we plan on starting the final product for the research paper based off of our interviews. We will all work on this together to get it finished to the final product.
